Living close to the last ones, we understood that we can do a lot together, and that love is not split but multiplied by the people we welcome and with whom we share our life.
Sharing for us is “to share with” and above all “to have in common”; it is a lifestyle, where we live with the last ones, fighting for the injustices and distortions of our society, and becoming the voice of those that do not have a voice.
For us, giving back dignity to the last ones means to welcome them with fraternity, care, respect, making people feel as part of a community. This is the way of living that we chose, sharing our life with the last one (#sharinghumanity).
We are unified under the name of Father Oreste Benzi that in 1968 founded the Community Pope John XXIII (APG23).
From that year, APG23 made a quite long trip: since 2006 it sits at the Economic Social Committee at the United Nations, nowadays we are in more than 40 countries on the 5 continents with more than 500 entities and our vocation is to be there where they ask for us.
And this is what we will keep on doing, until when the last ones will be the first ones.
